RadiumOne fires CEO, Gurbaksh Chahal, after domestic abuse conviction

The embattled CEO of RadiumOne has been fired by the online ad network’s board after his conviction on battery and domestic violence charges, the company announced Sunday.

Gurbaksh Chahal, the company’s founder and chairman, was fired Saturday night, according to Re/code, which was first to announce the termination. Bill Lonergan, the company’s chief operating officer, will take over as CEO, the San Francisco-based company said in a statement.
