Yammer offers $25,000 for Yahoo! engineers

Yammer CEO David Sacks is on the lookout for Yahoo engineers and is even prepared to pay a $25,000 signing bonus for anyone who jumps ship.

Yammer, based in San Francisco, has a product which it says “brings the power of social networking inside the enterprise in a private and secure environment”. There is no indication of why exactly Yammer is seeking specifically Yahoo! engineers, with Mr. Sacks merely saying: “I’m pleased to announce a $25,000 signing bonus for any Yahoo employee who joins Yammer in the next 60 days.”
