Security Alert – getstudyroom.com

There is a commercial site, getstudyroom.com, that asks users to enter their Penn State Access Account ID and password in order to invite classmates to join. If a user provides their credentials, the site takes possession of their credentials and tries to authenticate with Angel on their behalf and send the invite.

This is a violation of University policy AD-20; users should refrain from using this site because it captures and uses Penn State Access Account data.

If you have already provided your credentials to getstudyroom.com, you should browse to (https://www.work.psu.edu/password/) and change your Access Account password immediately.
