New VPN Client – AnyConnect

A new VPN client, AnyConnect, will be available for download and use beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 17. The new client will be made available through downloads.its.psu.edu.

AnyConnect supports the following operating systems:

Windows 10, 8.1, 8, and 7
Mac OS X 10.8 and higher
Linux Intel (x64)

Users do not need to reboot a machine following installation of AnyConnect.

The current VPN client, IPsec, or Cisco Systems VPN Client, will have continued support through at least February 2017. An exact date to decommission IPsec has not been determined.
