Update: IMAP email.psu.edu Login Slowness

Beginning around 5pm this evening some IMAP email.psu.edu users, who were previously not able to access their email, were able to connect to their email. By 6pm all IMAP email.psu.edu users were connecting to their email account. After much investigation it was determined that this was caused by a misconfigured file system. A temporary fix was put in place until ITS can implement the permanent solution tomorrow, Friday, February 13 during the normal maintenance window (5-7am). No email was lost during today’s service degradation.
