University Collaboration Suite (UCS) Software Upgrade – Thursday, October 22

On Thursday, October 22, during the regularly scheduled maintenance window (5:00 – 7:00 a.m.), a patch will be installed to the University Collaboration Suite (UCS). An outage of approximately 20 minutes is expected while the work is being completed.

During the outage period, UCS users will not be able to send or receive e-mail and/or calendar appointments.

No messages will be lost as a result of the outage or work being conducted. All queued messages will be sent once the work has been completed.

The patch addresses bug fixes and feature enhancements, including:
– Correcting issue of HTML tags appearing in a message field
– Improved ActiveSync synchronization
