Storm Update: Windows Server Update Service Unavailable

Penn State’s Windows Server Update Service was adversely affected during the move of the Computer Building data center to generator power (see related alert: http://alerts.its.psu.edu/alert-2491). The Windows Server Update Service is currently not available. The service will be brought back online as soon as circumstances allow.

The University is taking a number of precautions to protect Penn State’s information technology (IT) systems and infrastructure during the weather event currently impacting the Eastern United States.
