Resolved: umg.its.psu.edu Internal Server Error Problem

Starting last Thursday, June 18, https://umg.its.psu.edu/ gave some users an Internal Server Error when attempting to edit the membership of a group. The error stemmed from the Directory Service conversion performed last Tuesday, June 16 (alert-3548). As a result of the conversion, users managing groups with members deleted from the Directory after the Directory Service conversion received the error when changing membership settings.

A change was applied today, June 25, during the maintenance window (5-7 AM) to prevent the error with the UMG manager, skipping problematic membership records. The fix is described in Service Now CHG0032710.

ITS staff is correcting stale user records from groups.
