Resolved: Service Degradation: Kaltura

This issue has been resolved by the vendor, and Kaltura has been restored to normal functionality.

All Faculty and Staff on all campuses

IT SERVICE(S) IMPACTED:
Kaltura

DATE AND TIME:
Issues were first noticed at 10 AM March 19, 2019

NOTES:
An issue has been identified wherein video quiz scores submitted through Kaltura are not always accurately sent to the Canvas gradebook.
The work around is to enter the grades into Canvas manually.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
Penn State IT is currently working with the vendor regarding this issue.
This alert will be updated as more information becomes available.
Penn State IT users can view additional details in ServiceNow.
