Resolved: Reported Phishing Scam E-mails

Users are being precautioned about phishing scams that may have been received between 12:30 and 2:00 PM via e-mail. The e-mails are coming from compromised accounts at other universities and institutions.

Users should be wary of e-mails received from other universities and colleges during that time period.

The phishing scams prompt users to “Update your account immediately. See attached file for details.” Please delete e-mails fitting the description without replying.

It is a violation of University policy AD20 to share your Penn State account password with others.
