Resolved: Planned Update and Service Interruption for Microsoft IT Academy

Microsoft will be updating their eLearning platform for Microsoft IT Academy from May 29 through June 5. They have notified us that during this time period, the service will be unavailable to all users.

What does this mean to me?
Because this is a planned outage on Microsoft’s end you will not be able to access any Microsoft IT Academy eLearning classes between May 29 and June 5. Starting on June 6 the new eLearning platform will make it easier for you to create and assign Learning Plans, assign content, and track training in Microsoft IT Academy. Users who began an eLearning course in the system prior to the update will not be able to resume their courses where they had left off; partial completions will not be migrated into the new system. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause.

When will this be resolved?
The changes will be completed and Microsoft IT Academy will be back up and running on June 6, 2014.
