This issue has been resolved, and Penn State Account Systems have been restored to normal functionality.

IT SERVICE(S) IMPACTED:
Penn State Account systems (see list below) will be unavailable

DATE AND TIME:
Penn State Account Systems will be affected from 2:00 AM ET on 09/15/2018 until 12:00 PM ET on 09/15/2018.

NOTES:
CPR, Friends of Penn State, WebAccess, ID Provisioning, PSU Alerts, 2FA, DIMC, accounts.psu.edu, CIDR, MyPennState, Graduate Application, LionPATH, and WorkLion will all be impacted.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION:

In an effort to align identity and position PSU to have a single identity posture, Software Engineering will develop an architecture to replace FPS and Access Account management. This architecture will include a front facing API and DIMC to provision and manage a single Penn State Account.

This alert will be updated as new information becomes available. Penn State IT users can view additional details in ServiceNow.
