Preventative PASS Maintenance – August 17

On Wednesday, August 17, during the regularly scheduled maintenance window (5-7am), ITS will execute preventative clean-up work on the PASS filesystem. In order to perform this cleanup, all services that rely upon the /pass/users filesystem will become unavailable during a portion of the ITS maintenance window. These services include, but are not limited to the following:

– PASS Gateways (SMB/CIFS, NFS, Secure FTP)
– PASS Explorer, explorer.pass.psu.edu
– The personal web servers, www.personal.psu.edu and protected.personal.psu.edu
– php.scripts.psu.edu
