PASS CIFS Gateway win.pass.psu.edu – newer protocols to be enabled

The support for newer SMB protocols, 2 and 3 will be activated during the maintenance window on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, during the maintenance window of 5 to 7 AM.

Users may notice newer features become available. Users may need to reconnect clients to the service after work has been completed.

The work is being tracked through ServiceNow as CHG0040499.
