PASS CIFS Gateway Vendor Update – March 1-2

A vendor update will be applied to the PASS CIFS Gateway servers during ITS Maintenance Windows (5:00 – 7:00 a.m.) on both Tuesday, March 1, and Wednesday, March 2.

A brief outage may occur while the work is being completed. Affected servers include, but may not be limited to:

win.pass.psu.edu
smb.pass.psu.edu
cifs.pass.psu.edu

Most users should not experience a change in workflow following the update.

The change is being tracked through Service Now – CHG0035554.
