New online help portal available February 2

On Monday, February 2, at 7:00 a.m., a new online portal will make it easier for the Penn State community to request help from the IT Service Desk. Students, faculty, staff, and others will now be able to submit issues and questions through the portal in addition to contacting the IT Service Desk by phone and email. They will also be able to check the status of inquiries and manage all open IT Service Desk tickets online.

The portal will be available on the IT Service Desk website at The website will also have additional information about this new feature.

This new portal is part of Information Technology Services’ involvement in the Penn State Service Management Program. To find out more about the Service Management Program, please visit the Service Management Office website at
