Maintenance 11/8/18: IT Alerts and php.scripts.psu.edu may be sporadically unavailable
PEOPLE AND LOCATIONS IMPACTED:
All Students, Faculty, and Staff that use IT Alerts and php.scripts.psu.edu at all Penn State locations, but no impact is expected.
IT SERVICE(S) IMPACTED:
IT Alerts and php.scripts.psu.edu
DATE AND TIME:
IT Alerts and php.scripts.psu.edu will be affected between 8:00 AM ET on 11/8/18 and 5:00 PM ET on11/8/18
NOTES:
The backend servers which provide IT Alerts and php.scripts.psu.edu will receive routine operating system and GPFS updates. Because these services are load balanced, no downtime is expected.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
Each server will be removed from the load balancer, updated, tested, and restored to the load balancer serially, so there should be no downtime.
