iTwo Migration to new LDAP Directory – June 16

On Tuesday, June 16, 2015, during the regularly scheduled maintenance window (5:00-7:00 a.m.), Information Technology Services (ITS) will migrate iTwo to the new LDAP Directory software (http://alerts.its.psu.edu/alert-3548). iTwo will not be available while the migration takes place, and service unavailability may last longer than 7:00 a.m. depending upon the number of issues encountered.

In preparation for Tuesday’s migration, the iTwo Production and Acceptance servers will be placed into Read-Only mode at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, June 15. Once iTwo is in Read-Only Mode, users will not be able to save their work. It is highly recommended that users save their work prior to 5:00 p.m. on June 15. iTwo users will be notified once the servers are no longer in Read-Only mode.

This alert will be updated if the migration process is to last longer than the traditional maintenance window and when the work is complete and iTwo is available.
