Emergency PASS Server Maintenance Scheduled for October 24, 2013

On Thursday, October 24, 2013, during the regularly scheduled maintenance window (5:00-7:00 a.m.), Information Technology Services (ITS) will perform emergency maintenance to one of the file system technologies supporting Penn State Access Account Storage Service (PASS). The work being performed tomorrow is a continuation from last week’s maintenance (ITS Alert #2861).

Users accessing PASS through nfs.pass.psu.edu may experience a degradation and/or interruption of service during this period. Those clients maintaining persistent mounts of PASS may require a remount operation, after the upgrade is completed, to fully restore functionality.
