Computer Building Maintenance Work on UPS

This alert is being shared with DCS Colocation customers in the Computer Building. Data Center Services staff will be working with our colleagues in OPP in order to perform maintenance on the equipment that supplies Tier3 power to whitespace areas fed from UPS 3 & 4 (room 134 and the research cluster in the CoLo space). Please note: CoLo room 139, ARL space, and Hershey space are NOT impacted.

The first phase of work will be performed outside the maintenance window from 5:00pm-5:00am, on Monday, March 5, 2018.
The second phase of work will be performed outside the maintenance window from 5:00pm-5:00am, on Monday, March 19th, 2018.

No outage to any equipment in the whitespace is expected. For those customers with equipment in that area, if you have not already done so, based on previous notification, you should verify that the power supplies to your equipment are functional prior to and after each phase of work.

This maintenance change was approved by the CAB and is being tracked in CHG0047254.
