Central Person Registry (CPR) Infrastructure Maintenance, Affecting Multiple Services

On Monday, August 10, a four-hour maintenance window will be scheduled from 3:00 AM until 7:00 AM for software installation and the migration and configuration of the Central Person Registry (CPR) on newly deployed infrastructure.

Services that will be affected during the maintenance window include:

–CPR web services and services relying on the CPR, such as the PSUAlert and Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) self-service interfaces: The PSUAlert service will continue to be operational for pushing alerts; however, users will not be able to change alert settings using the PSUAlert interface during the maintenance window. Similarly, the Duo Security 2FA service will continue to be operational; however, users will not be able to enroll or manage devices using the 2FA interface during the maintenance window.

–Central Accounts Coordinate Tracking User Services (CACTUS) interfaces, such as ITS Charge Account, Update or Renew ITS Charge Account, Send Mass Email Request, Short-Term Access Account Management and Distribution, and DIMC: CPR/CACTUS batch processing will be suspended until after the outage.

–Central ID Repository (CIDR): Natural changes will impact CIDR web apps and any mainframe screens or batch processes used for matching and creating person records.

This work is being tracked in a ServiceNow change request, CHG0033045.
