Canvas may be impacted by Friends of Penn State service upgrade on March 7, 8

Penn State IT will upgrade the Kerberos authentication service for Friends of Penn State (FPS) accounts on Tuesday, March 7, during the 5-7 a.m. ET maintenance window. On Wednesday, March 8, during the 5-7 a.m. ET maintenance window, the restart scripts will be tested, which may result in a brief outage similar to the previous day, but for only a minute or two. While it is not expected that Canvas will be affected, users may experience issues connecting to Canvas during these times.
