Sorry to hear about your situation. I heard about these brute force attacks happening all over the place.

One thing I did with my WordPress sites was to immediately change my Usernames and Passwords to upper, lower case letters and numbers.

This way, it would make it harder for hackers to reach your site from the Admin Login dialog box. Provides better encryption and less chance for them to guess either of them.

Have you contacted your hosting tech support person about this? I did this right away to get my logins protected.
