Changes to ANGEL Login for beginning of fall semester

Starting on Monday, August 24 students, faculty, and staff who use ANGEL will login to the system through the ANGEL homepage instead of WebAccess. As a result, the login page will look different from the usual WebAccess page. While users will still login using their Penn State user ID and password, the authentication will not be through WebAccess. This change is being made to help ensure the continuous availability of ANGEL during the start of fall semester classes due to slowness with WebAccess.

Users should note that switching ANGEL away from WebAccess means that ANGEL will not be part of the single sign-on services during this time. As a result, users will be prompted to login again when moving between ANGEL and to/from other online Penn State services. Other single sign-on services, such as WebMail and eLion, will not be affected. This alert will be updated when ANGEL authentication is returned to WebAccess.
