University Collaboration Suite (UCS) Software Upgrade – June 10, 2017

On Saturday, June 10, University Collaboration Suite (UCS) will undergo a software upgrade during the scheduled maintenance window from 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. An outage of approximately eight hours is expected while the software is updated.

During the outage period, UCS users will not be able to send or receive e-mail and/or calendar appointments. No messages will be lost as a result of the outage, and all queued messages will be sent once the upgrade has been completed.

The upgrade addresses the following bug fixes and feature enhancements:
The quota usage bar in the upper right of the web client will be larger and more visible.
The “Add to Filter” feature when right clicking an address will be available once again.
The QuickAdd location using GAL autocomplete bug will be fixed.
Users will be warned if creating an event in the past.
Minor printing issues for IE/Firefox will be corrected.
Weekly recurring meetings will be synced in Outlook 2016.
Caldav sync errors on latest Mac versions will be fixed.
