Resolved: ANGEL to be upgraded to version 8.0 May 5 during extended maintenance window
From 4:00 to 8:00 a.m. Eastern Time Saturday, May 5, Penn State’s Course Management System, ANGEL (http://cms.psu.edu/) will be unavailable while Information Technology Services (ITS) upgrades ANGEL from version 7.4 to version 8.0. ITS regrets any inconvenience this extended maintenance window may cause.
The new version of ANGEL will provide enhancements to several existing tools, including assessments, drop boxes, and discussion forums. In addition, ANGEL will now be fully functional in a wider range of web browsers, including Internet Explorer 9, Firefox 10, Chrome 16, and Safari 5. For the most part, however, the functionality will remain familiar to users.
