Canvas – External Tool selection for assignment creation is partially unavailable

All faculty and staff attempting to use external tools when creating an assignment

External Tool selection for assignment creation is partially unavailable

DATE AND TIME:
Issue began at 10:09 AM on 01/09/2019

NOTES:
When creating a new assignment and then choosing “external tool” it is only loading the first six tools. This only appears to be an issue in Firefox. The workaround at this time is to switch to a different browser, such as Chrome. All tools are available for selection in Chrome.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
Penn State IT staff are working with the vendor to resolve this issue. This alert will be updated as new information becomes available. Penn State IT users can view additional details in ServiceNow.
