DATE AND TIME:
All of Penn State wireless and residence halls’ wired networks may be affected from 5:00am ET until 7:00am ET 09/25/2018.
NOTES:
Users may experience disruption of network access during the upgrade on both wireless networks and residence halls’ wired networks.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
The Penn State wireless core routers will have their operating systems upgraded to address a known issue that causes the routing engines to failover to the standby routing engine. There may be a brief interruption to the wireless service as a result of performing the upgrade.
