Resolved: Internal Database Maintenance

On Thursday, August 16, 2012, during the regularly scheduled maintenance window (5:00-7:00 a.m.), Information Technology Services (ITS) will perform work on a database server used by the following services:

– ITS Chat service (chat.psu.edu)
– reporthate.equity.psu.edu
– ITS News and alerts (news.its.psu.edu and alerts.its.psu.edu)
– Resource creation within University Collaboration Suite (UCS), regular users will be unaffected
– Links for licensed software on the ITS Downloads server (downloads.its.psu.edu)
– Podcasts served from podcasts.psu.edu

During this planned maintenance, users may observe a degraded experience for the services listed above.
