Twitch.TV to broadcast Ultra Music Festival this weekend. Just change your password before then.

Earlier this year video-game broadcasting site Twitch announced that it was broadening its horizons and embracing music in addition to games. I have to admit that the first and last time I visited Twitch’s Music category was when I was researching that post, though I have tuned in to the Saturday night concerts being streamed from PAX South and PAX East.

For me at least there’s just not a lot of incentive to go to Twitch to hear some random performer play; it takes an event to get my interest. An event such as the Ultra Music Festival, happening this coming weekend (March 27th-29th, 2015). The ‘cheap’ tickets for the festival are sold out, but you can attend virtually because Twitch will stream the show for all three days (for a total of 25 hours). Twitch is the exclusive broadcast partner for the festival.
