Symantec invests in opening a Singapore security centre

 Symantec has dedicated a portion of its $50 million investment in beefing up its online security services towards the opening of its newest security operations centre (SOC) in Singapore.

The opening of the Singapore-based SOC marks the sixth SOC to be opened in the world, and the fourth one in the Asia-Pacific region. The company said the investment will expand support for its SOC in Chennai, India and Tokyo, Japan.
