VoIP set replacement project

The following is an important message about the VoIP telephone service at University Park campus. Please forward this announcement to the person(s) responsible for making telecommunications service requests in your area.

Penn State’s Telecommunications and Networking Services (TNS) has announced that manufacture support of select VoIP telephone models ended as of June 30, 2015. As a result, the voice services on these unsupported devices may experience partial or complete failure in the near future.

Newer telephone models are available through TNS for a onetime cost or a low monthly rental fee. To receive a replacement model, administrative units and departments may contact TNS at 8148651696 or submit a Service Inquiry/Request at
https://webapps.tns.its.psu.edu/Forms/ServiceInquiry/.

More information about unsupported devices and replacement options is available at
