Update: Service Degradation from Network Congestion
Mitigation to the issue did not correct the original problem, as previously thought. Â A complete solution is being finalized to prevent future occurrences.
It has been determined that the incident described earlier was one of several incidents relating to the underlying problem. Â During each incident network congestion would last for a few minutes, degrading or disrupting services for that time period. Â Services were only temporarily disrupted each time as a result. Â
The multiple incidents in relation to the network congestion have occurred since 9:19 a.m. yesterday, October 15 with the largest outage being reported in the initial alert.
In addition, another issue relating to PASS degradation was found to have occurred Tuesday, October 14, starting at 4:05 p.m. Â The outage lasted until 4:15 p.m., with services automatically being restored.
