Update: PASS issues
Between 2:10 p.m. and 4:10 p.m., PASS experienced connectivity issues in which access to data in the storage system became unavailable. All PASS dependent services were affected as a result of the issue.
It is now known that due to multiple and simultaneous failures of disks within PASS, data loss occurred for two areas of the storage system. As a result, data confirmed to have been lost will need to be restored from backup files. The loss of data has affected only user home directories.
Affected users will not be able to access their home directories at this time.
