Resolved: FPS: Authentication problems
Between 6:00 PM and 8:30 PM, users may have experienced authentication errors through the FPS web interface or through other applications that use the FPS API.
As of 8:30 PM, we have identified the source of the FPS authentication errors and have implemented a temporary workaround, with a more permanent solution due out in the next software push of the FPS application.
In addition, also starting at around 6:00 PM, the Digital Identity Management Console (DIMC), currently a part of the FPS application, was failing to look up users by name. Lookups by User ID and PSU ID were functioning normally. This was corrected at around 7:30 PM.
