Power Outage Will Affect Services and Servers May 24-25

Beginning on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 6:00 pm through Sunday, May 25, 2014 at 11:00 pm work will be done to the electrical systems in the Shields building. As a result, power will be turned off to specific rooms in that building impacting select University systems and services. The affected services, listed below, may be either not available or in a degraded state (slower than normal response times).

Faculty Activity Insight System (FAIS)
Kerberos
Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP)
Windows Active Directory
WebAccess

Please note that no nightly PASS backups will occur during this power outage.
