New Box web interface on 10/25/16

On Tuesday, October 25, during the regularly scheduled maintenance window (5-7
AM), the Box web interface will be upgraded to a new design. Functionality will
remain largely the same, however the changes are designed to allow users to
navigate more efficiently around the tool as well as improve response times for
search and preview. This only applies to the Box ‘web application,’ or
‘web app,’ that is accessed via an Internet browser like Chrome, Internet
Explorer or Firefox. Other Box applications (e.g., Box Sync/Box Edit/Mobile
apps) will not change as part of this upgrade.

There will be no outage as a result of this action.

NOTE: Tags will temporarily be unavailable in the new Box interface. While
tags will initially be hidden, Box has committed to restoring them in the first
revision to the new interface. Users will not lose any tags; at the point when
they are restored, tags will reappear on all files that were previously tagged.

Support documents and resources for the new interface can be found by joining
